Soaltee Group of Hotel is known for the pioneering role in high-end tourism in Nepal since the last 56 years with its Five-Star property in Kathmandu, the group has undertaken a green initiative by setting up Nepal’s most state-of-the art Sustainable Hotel in Nepalgunj. Soaltee Westend Premier (SWP), is the first Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) certified in silver category hotel in Nepal. Spread over 87000 sq foot, the property is equipped with infrastructure that is luxurious and ecofriendly. Soaltee Westend Premier (SWP) believing in Going Green has several plants installed which helps in reducing its carbon footprint.
The infrastructure and mechanisms have helped it secure two International Awards as well. First of its kind in Nepal, the hotel has become a source of inspiration. The plants which were not within one’s reach considering the huge investments; as in low-income countries it is difficult to address today's short- term pressing needs while preparing for tomorrow's climate-related impacts and surprises.
